these are some pics after a small renovation to my tank. i wanted to be able to get behind my tank for maint. and storage. i set the fuge behind my tank and moved my skimmer into the fuge. what a difference it made being able to use the skimmer at full throttle. now i just gotta work on hiding all the wires.
i did add a small piece of black to hide the fuge and the light. im pretty happy the way it all turned out

The tank is looking good! in the last pic you posted today, is that food you put in or is that your firefish?
I like the pink and white coral, is that a carnation?

thanks paul! the coral is a carnation. i wasnt sure about getting it because ive heard they are real hard to keep. but it gets direct feeding 2 times a day of phyto and off and on some cyclopese. the last pic is my brain coral with a silverside in its mouth.it was real hungry. it took about and hour for it to get it down but was cool to watch

one thing i really like about the carnation is that it is amost always out. it is in a high flow area and is real pretty.i hope i can keep it happy since it has become my wifes favorite.

just an update on the new adds. all the fish are doing well and the skinny little mandarin is showing some definition in its belly so i think we got him just in time to turn him around. the new corals are looking good too. im hoping my new bulbs get here today and my new light should be here by tuesday.
