Two fish in QT - One with possible ich

While far from an aquarium newb, I am new to the saltwater hobby. In my 20 gallon (well cycled) QT tank, I have a true percula clown and a foxface. They’ve been in for almost two weeks. The foxface has been breathing heavily for a few days and I just noticed a white spot on his face. No scratching and eating well. My question is two-fold...

Should I pull the true percula and throw him into the display tank while I deal with the possible ich drama? Should I treat the entire tank? Should I treat anything at this point and just wait? I wouldn’t treat a saltwater fish with this little evidence but I’m so unsure when it comes to saltwater.

If it's ich I would not introduce either one into the DT or you will possibly intoduce it to your DT. Let me try to get one of the experts over to help.

You don’t want to add the clownfish to your DT if the foxface has a possible disease issue. (Most fish diseases are waterborne transmissible.)

treat all fish that have come into contact with the suspected fish and infested water like they have the illness as well. Don't add anything to your display tank

I agree with @hdsoftail1065 I wouldn't introduce any fish that have been exposed to ich into your display.

I haven’t fresh water dipped them because honestly I’m uneasy about it since I’m new to this. I don’t want to do it wrong and hurt my fish. I jumped into saltwater from freshwater and I feel it’s a whole different world. But any and all help is appreciated.

For a couple hours only after I snapped the picture and posted it was gone. Not sure what happened but I took it as a good sign.

Yeah if that's it it probably isn't ich but I'd still treat all fish before DT. They often harbor parasites that'll "blow up" later
