This tank looks amazing in pictures but is on a whole other level in person. It was nice meeting and chatting with you on Saturday, and thank you very much for the tour of your incredible system.
My pleasure, your welcome back anytime.
Was nice to have actually meet someone from the #Reef2Reef site, and show you my tank.

Hey #reefsquad, I've got a update for everyone

My tangs I've had in QT since late December I had catch ICH again somehow. They are right now about 4 days away form going into display, YAYyy finally, my tang gang. A Gem, yellow, purple and blue hippo, to go with my white tail tang.

I had some Bryopsis get in on a snail. Had been dosing Vibrant for almost two months. Then, it didnt touch the Bryopsis, but caused another issue, my system became to clean and created a Cyanobacteria problem now, grr. Aswell as stressed some corals, lost a couple lps heads. Live and learn I guess. Right now I'm battling to get my stability back to where it used to be.

I'm currently trying now to get my Nitrates and Phospates back into balance. I should have never started dosing Vibrant.

Also flatworms got into my frag/invert QT, and of course flatwork exit doesnt kill my strain, even at 5x recommended dose.

I've added fans over the tanks, to help control temp increase from lights being on. Have the Apex controling the outlet, based off a temp setting for each tank.

I added a GFO reactor for when I need it, off one of my return lines, with flow meter aswell.

I added another couple stages to my RODI. So that I can go longer with the DI resin. And added another carbon.

I added a bunch of WYZE cams, to see if modules trip, or sump level raises for no reason etc. Nice haveing the security from your phone to look at what is going on.

I also added another high cfm ceiling fan, to help with humidity. So two fans now controlled of a stat, really helps.

I am now currently working on building a acyrlic algea scrubber, so hope to have that built and plumbed soon.

Cheers.

Today is the day, finally.

My Tang gang is going in tonight, a year later. My Purple tang, Gem tang, Blue Hippo tang and a yellow tang, to join my white tail Bristletooth tang.

YESSSSSS

#reefsquad

How long does it take for your bacteria to bounce back up in numbers, after adding more fish?

Added 4 tangs and a trigger this past weekend.

I would like to add my remaining fish that are in QT waiting transfer.

Im not exactly sure what your asking us about bacteria as your system seems to be we’ll established and presumably can cope with any additions you add to it ?

Just wasn't sure if adding 5 bigger fish all at the same time, would create any strain.

#reefsquad Let the frag tank rough in begin....Plumbing my display over to it tomorrow.

I also got a new 3" cable raceway to redo under quartine tanks...couldnt previously fit cable managment from the three QT tanks into a 2" raceway.

Couple photos from this weekend. No filter used. Took during day schedule.

I've removed all coral off sand bed yesterday, and moved all my frags into frag tank. So I can better treat and remedy my cyano.

I'll post photos of the final frag tank soon.
