Lost most of my bigger pieces, quite a few smaller frags, and A LOT of color. Still may lose a couple more, but man is it nice to see clear waters.

Still not sure exactly what caused all this. The bacterial population took a big hit transferring the second time. It's all in a much more sterile, bare bones environment now.

One thing is for sure, it's bouncing back. Feeeeels good.

Happy Holidays!

Looks great! I just upgraded myself! Got a bigger tank and a fish room behind it so I could make it look like it was in wall.
really wish my other tank didn’t crash 2 weeks before the transfer to the new tank. I have a lot of rock to fill now.

Sorry to hear about your crash. Hopefully it was no worse than mine. New build looks great!

Only seeing improvements all around. Color slowly coming back. Acros that had STN are growing their tissue back. Solid polyp extension for the most part. One small red digi that is still thoroughly ticked, but not a single loss since the reboot.

Lots of progress on the basement/future fish room. I had the week off and tried to make the best of it. Lots of demo. Did my best to seal up any cracks in the foundation. Gutter system installed for any leaks. Foam insulation against foundation. Need to fix some electric and will likely re-frame the walls. Would be nice to get the floor looking nicer.

I had the time this weekend to make the sump move happen. Some goofy plumbing to tie new to old, but it all works. Need to order a new gate valve. Dialing in bean animal with a ball valve is no fun.

Still lots to do. Need to organize a controller area. Route cables and mount power bricks in a way that's not a total PITA when it comes to maintenance. There's a kalk stirrer to setup. I want to switch to a gravity fed ATO. Refugium is high on the list, but still back and forth on if it'll be in the sump or not.

The upper platform was orignally built to hold the skimmer in it's own brute container. I am changing directions and found a tunze skimmer that can operate efficiently at very low sump levels. I could see a fuge up there, maybe a gravity fed ato reservoir, or I may just eliminate it all together.

Been a while since my last update for the locals.

Late January. Post crash.

Few days ago. Got some new introductions struggling, but everything that survived the crash appears to be thriving.
