Hello,

So recently, I have had numerous corals die with no apparent reason, all one by one, all euphyllia... Have I found a culprit who may be responsible?

I have found this random crab claw in my tank today when moving a few rocks ready for my new layout and setup.

Is it an unknown hitchhiker? Or just a stray claw that has gotten through the sand process? I often see little chunks of shells in the sandbed aswell (Red Sea Aragonite (Pink)).

I have a single pompom crab, and numerous hermits, though none have claws that look like this. Approximately 1cm in length.
