Happy New Years Eve guys!

I recently shipped some corals to my friend as a Christmas gift using the UniHeat 40 hours pad and a styrofoam box. My friend told me that when he received the box. The water was ice cold and the heat pack was not working at all. Does it happen to you guys too? Is UniHeat a reliable brand? Or maybe I did something wrong when packing the box? Any advice will be extremely appreciated. I am planning to send him another gift but I want to make sure I do it right this time!

I’ve had problems with heat packs getting wet, or being in a sealed box and using up all of the oxygen.

I just sent a box of acros with uniheat yesterday and the box arrived today with a water temp of 55 degrees. Needless to say all the acros perished. I tore open a couple packs of uniheat and none of them warmed up after sitting on the table so oxygen wasn’t the issue.

Did you guys make air holes so the heat packs could get oxygen?
