I have just recently added an Avast Kalk Stirrer fed from my ATO. This thing is pretty cool. I hope to gain more control with my kalk dosing as opposed to dosing it depending on evaporation, which has been way too much lately, and I'm sure it will change with the seasons.

How do intend to adjust the dosage? Won't the ATO simply call for top off water through the kalk reactor whenever there is sufficient evaporation? Or, will you be taking the kalk reactor completely off line during certain seasons? I'm just curious about your plan.

I control the dosage thru the reactor from my apex. The osmolator will top off when needed, which will be a little less. Not all top off goes thru the reactor, just what I tell it to.
I really only plan on using this as supplemental when my demand gets higher I will turn my 2 part dosers back on.
