I've decided to upgrade to a new 125 gallon reef ready tank. My current 72 gallon is ok for now, but eventually the corals will grow so large, there won't be much room for my fish to swim comfortably (excuse I gave my wife). I just wanted a new tank. My tank will arrive this Friday, so I thought I would try my hand at building my own stand. I liked the DIY videos for framing it, but I want it to be a little more decorative; which will be the challenge. I'm not a contractor, so don't be too hard on me. It is level and plumb:

Once the tank is in, I will post more pics of plumbing and tank setup, then the moving of all my rock, coral, and fish.

Looks great man 100% solid, spray it with water proof paint or something to keep it dry for many many years

Did you add any new rock (dry or live) when you started this 125 gallon upgrade? Any uglies stage or nuisance algae issues on the upgrade? You seem to have transitioned well.

I did. I only added about an additional 30 lbs of live rock. I did live sand as well. Only issue was that I didn't make sure my salt level was the same, and ended up killing my cleaner shrimp and peppermint shrimp. But everything else transitioned pretty well.

I'm guessing a marineland125 corner dual overflow nice. Got the same tank. Would like to see your plumbing. I soft plumbed mine. Running into an issue with one side not siphon ning. I used the marineland majesty stand for mine. Just at 29 inches tall couldn't hard plumb it. No space. I'm guessing your stand is a minimum 36 inches to 40 inches. Pics of plbing please.
