Upgraded from a 20ga to a 40 breeder.ive added live sand, some live rock from my smaller tanks that I've had in my cycled tank about 3 months old to me.
Sal 1.026
Temp 80f
Instant ocean mix
I've added Dr tims one and only, also imagitarium biological booster
And some fish food, couple frozen cubes and flakes

My question is while cycling the tank is it ok to have some coral in it while its cycling? I've had it in the tank for about a week now(they've seemed ok and have opened up as they should)

before I fed it today to help with the ammonia spike and feed the bacteria. Should I pull the corals out? (Kenya tree, mushrooms, zoas,GSP,toadstool leather frags)
Thanks in advance!
I will be converting to a sump later w/overflow box(seen to many cracked tanks from drilling) also thats a DIY tank stand.will setup t5 light fixture later.

It's not ideal but if you've added the existing live rock without it being exposed to air too long, added bottle bacteria, the uncycled rock isn't too dirty with dead organics and you do not increase your livestock for awhile you'll probably be okay. I looks like you have mostly softies so they should be "hardy". Feed lightly, keep an eye on ammonia. I see no point in removing the coral to feed, that's just added stress. If you're seeing ammonia after feeding you have an issue you need to address.

Yea all the rock has been in smaller tanks. I upgraded because maintaining 3-4 small tanks is exhausting and burning alot of mix for them.
Oh gotcha, I mis understood. I thought you added uncured/cycled live rock to existing live rock during the upgrade. I'm sure you're fine then but keep testing for the first bit.
