Upgrading My 75-Gallon Tank Lighting—Suggestions?

Hello everyone,

Im a new member here, but Ive been in the hobby for years. Im looking to upgrade the lighting on my 4-year-old 75-gallon reef tank. Currently, Im using a Fluval Sea, which has been fine for softies, but I want to start keeping SPS. Unfortunately, all my previous attempts with SPS have failed, and I suspect my lighting is the issue.

My tank dimensions are approximately 48”L x 18”W x 18”H, and my budget is around $400-600. Id love to hear recommendations on the best lighting options for SPS within my budget. If anyone has experience upgrading from similar lights, Id appreciate your insights.

Scour the internet to find an ATI T5 fixture or equivalent. Best lighting hands down for SPS.

Halides with T5's. I dont think there is anything better for SPS.You should be able to find a used set up with a little patience.

This tank thrived under noopsyche k7s. Two would be good on a 75g I think. I had more than needed but I was able to get 300 par on the bottom where I had clams on the left end.

As @bradreef stated they'll grow pretty much anything
