So I've got some rock from, it's been out of the water for a couple of weeks, I do plan on using it in my tank, but that won't be for 3 months or so.

My question is, do I let it dry and kill off everything? Or do the soak in saltwater for a few months seen as I have time to play with?

All advice welcome.

Thanks

I suppose it is, but I’ve read of people leaving it in direct sunlight for extended periods of time. Didn’t know if that was ‘a thing’ worth considering.

Direct sunrise cures it but IF still wet, Place in bin of seawater and circulate and add liquid bacteria to help seed it.
If Dry, you can prep it the same way for use.
