I have a 20 gallon Mixed Sps Reef and I am starting to see a little bit of dinos I am thinking abt ordering the (Aqua ultraviolet

15 Watt Advantage 2000+ UV Sterilizer) From bulk Reef supply and I was wondering what a good flow rate for this should be to maximize killing dinos.

I see it says:

“Great for tanks up to reef tanks up to 75-gallons. Suggested flow rate for saltwater aquarium sterilization - 233 GPH.”

You can easily run that unit’s output into a gallon jug and do the math (time it) to hit 233 gph. Maybe for algae, dinos and the like (as opposed to an Ich problem) cut the speed to about 1/3rd of that.
