Just finished the whole video. Very helpful. What I’ve gathered tells me that in addition to copper, nitrofurazone would be an effective medication.

@vetteguy53081, would you recommend dosing copper into the QT as well as dosing super ich cure (which contains both malachite green and nitrofurazone, both safe with copper)? Would that be sufficient against brook or velvet? Otherwise I can try general cure. I cannot seem to find much info on it, though. Is general cure a good product for formalin baths?
Generally is very good and by company API
Chewy.com has it and price honored at pet smart

Here is how they looked in the FW bath. I pulled them out early because they stopped swimming (probably stressed) and really were worrying me. I got these pics though. I’m not sure what to make of it...
Note the whiteness of the fins and the cracked appearance towards the top. Should I be sure this is even a parasite or some other infection? Neither has stopped eating although they do seem to have some elevated breathing.

Feed them as much as they will eat. Keep their strength up. If they stop eating, then at least they will have some energy to last while you medicate. Copper can suppress appetite.

Great! Should I use that in the QT itself (like it instructs) or in baths, and use copper in the QT?
I use it in baths but a qt setup can be accomplished in same manner. Initially, fish are given a quick dip in the formalin at a higher concentration, followed by continued treatment in a prolonged bath of formalin at a lower concentration in a quarantine tank (QT). Of course, the longer the fish are exposed to the formalin treatment, the more effective it will be at eliminating this disease.

I’ve attached a video of the clowns in QT, just after their FW dip. How do they look to you guys? Nemo (the bright orange one) seems to be the concerning one.

Where are you seeing that General Cure has formalin in it? After reading the current SDS, it doesn't state formalin as an ingredient.

That's where I am confused. I read that it is a good product for formalin but I cannot find any in the ingredients.
General treats for bacteria and will work also but true formalin is quick cure

Considering what it has, looks active and breathing normal

The FW dips do seem to be providing some alleviation. I think once I start formalin/acriflavine dips I’ll really start to see some results.

There is no fish medication called quick cure, or at least none I can find. I may just try the Super Ich cure baths and see where that goes.

QT update: The clownfish are still alive and well, but their breathing is still elevated. Maybe it’s stress-induced because they’re still eating and swimming fine. I’m also concerned about poor Nemo. His color is still a bit faded, and he seems stressed. The two keep getting into quarrels in the small QT tank, and Nemo, who is smaller and weaker, keeps getting beat up. If his condition worsens, I may have to separate the two so that stress doesn’t lower Nemo’s immune system. I still see some dusting but not as much as there was before they went into QT, so I think I’m on the right track. Now, I’m really just keeping an eye out for behavioral issues.

Update: A week later, and the treatment seems to be proving effective! No signs of parasites for a few days. I’ll continue to treat copper to completely eliminate the parasites, but things seem to be on the right track.

Now I’m dealing with some secondary bacterial and fungal infections on the fish. Nemo seems to have some sort of discoloration on his dorsal fin. Any remedy to this?
