Vermatid snail on Astraea snail?

Hi. Just looking at my tank with the lights off and noticing something growing off the side of one of my snails. So far I've been pretty lucky with pests however this looks like a vermatid snail. I just wanted to see what other people thought. I already took it out of my tank and scraped it off the snail. Just looking for input.

Yea getting rid of it is a good call. They're not too bad, but can be unsightly pests

Thank you very much. I'm never seen one in person so I wasn't 100% sure. Fingers crossed there's no more
