Hi All

Are these Vermatid Snails growing on the Candy Cane frag. The coral has not been growing. What should I do?

Could be; if they have a hard "shell" and break off easily probably so. Search this forum and you'll get lots of experienced advice. Good luck

Hard to tell what's going on here. I see what could be a couple vermetid tubes, the larger translucent tubes, but also maybe some turf algae, the spiky looking stuff. Needs a better pic. I doubt it's why the coral is dying though.

do you see little spider web strands come out of the tubes when you feed the tank? If you do, then it is vermatid snail. If it is, then get rid of them.

The coral polyp in the pic was very small when I got it a month back, it has not changed since. Any idea?

If I'm reading that correctly, you have had massive swings in multiple critical parameters over the past few months which would explain poor livestock health.

Lps doesn't like major swings , and those look large. Candy canes are pretty hardy, you should be able to save it while monitoring your parameters closer imo
