I love that Vertex uses titanium screws that are durable and easy to use, allowing for thorough cleaning of the skimmer.
The screw on neck is a nice feature
I've previously had the Omega 130 and 180i. These skimmers do a great job pulling a lot of gunk out of the water! The 150 would be perfect for my new build!!!!! I also "liked" Vertex facebook page.
I love the high quality build and the ability to disassemble everything for cleaning! My current skimmer no matter what I do captures all this junk in the chamber making it very difficult to clean! Unscrewing those titanium screws will ensure a clean skimmer and the longevity of the product! Great design!
I never made a thread so the learning curve delayed the 3rd post lololol!!

I like that it’s low power consumption and appears to be easy to adjust
Looked at the product info. What’s not to like? The silence, titanium screws and fine tuning all stand out to me. Plus is a nice looking skimmer!

Pinwheel impeller and custom V-150 skimmer pump - custom built by Sicce for Vertex
High bio-load capacity
Those are the things I like, gallon perfect since I'm just at around 60 and my next tank will be a 100+g Red sea or waterbox!
Checked out the project page.
I'm already familiar with the skimmer, it's currently the skimmer I'm looking at getting for my next build (80-100 gal). I love the quality of the build and the reputation of these skimmers in the community speaks for itself. I'd love to see an option for a DC pump
Here is my update on my build thread, as depressing as it is.
Checked out the product page. I generally like the overall look of the skimmer. Appears to be of solid construction and the Sicce pump is a good performer being both quiet and energy efficient.

Features I like after looking at the product page are the reliable Sicce pump, titanium screws, long warranty, Ozone injection point, and great build quality.
Quiet operation is always a nice feature, nothing can take away from the experience of your tank than the raging motor humming in the background.
