Okay so thanks been up for almost 18 months and I still see very little if any coralline algae growing is this anything to be worried about or do some just not grow it?

Tank parameters are all solid normal numbers and ph is 7.7-8. Most all corals look wonderful and growing so I’m not worried but I would like to have some coralline on my back walls etc.

Ph range 8.1-8.3 and calcium 440
Low ph and calcium = slow growth

Coralline refuses to grow in my 20L and its jammed to the walls with SPS growing like mad.

My prior 20L required a paint scraper to remove coralline, yet SPS grew mediocre. Im convinced the issue is biologic. I no longer care about coralline because while its nice to have it coating rocks and blocking out nuisance algae its not a litmus for tank health.
