Update. Still getting this tank. Have had a couple of delays.
March 16th, the seller thought he would make life easy for us and dismantled entire stand and canopy into 42 pieces !!!!! Not kidding. I paid transporter for 7 pieces and blanket wrap. So I had him put it all back together. Then I had a different U-ship transporter there last Saturday 3/30 and seller FORGOT (forgot?) to mentioned he has a stairwell at the door which creates a squeeze and therefore, this 1200 lb tank needed to be raised over the crown of his stairs by 6 people not the three I hired???

I have reached out to shipper m, and we are just trying to collaborate the transport, added manpower and the seller who travels a lot to coordinate this and finally get it home.

Dismantling:

Steps in the way right at entry door:

I would suggest removing that stair rail... It's just held on by four bolts at the bottom of each post. Removal and replacement after the move would take less than 30 minutes. I mean, I understand this isn't your house, but I would suggest it...

I did. You have no idea how difficult this person has been. Language barrier to pickiness, but as you stated- Not my house. Im having my patio door removed to accommodate this beast and only 15-20 mins for removal.

Let me know when you'll be setting things up. I'm not too far (about 2 hours) and may take a ride up to help out.
Setting up this coming weekend. Plumbing is main issue right now but have all the parts. This has EIGHT return nozzles with random flow generators

Are you running same or similar plumbing to the previous configuration? If so, did you take a lot pics of the previous plumbing set up?

You got that tank for a steal. I saw it advertised on Giant Aquariums from Du Page, IL.
Nice find.
It was a deal of deals. Lots of work ahead though

Um, I'm not sure but I think you'll garner much more help if you advertise, "FREE COLD BEER!" In the small print you'll have to put that beer commences at the completion of all work. Lol
Beer and broasted chicken Friday!! Doing the plumbing and sump so I can get the filling of tank started
