No Apex or other controller so far. Sometimes I think about it though. Then back away because of the cost. lol.

Yeah- cost and real life experience with reliability is a concern for me. I don’t regret it, per se, but if I’d saved My money up a bit longer and looked around I think I’d be happier

But I think it could be a speck of water logged algae.

I think I am seeing algae he pooped! He definately pooped while he was in there!
I got a minuscule piece of algae and wet mounted it! It sure looks the same.

Funny at first it reminded me of looking at cheek cells from microbiology class in college. I also wondered what fish scales look like in a microscope.

This is nori I soaked in water for a few minutes. Super cool!

First photo of sesame seed shaped blob. It also lost the sesame shape when I placed a slide it it. Would a fluke do that?

Hopefully It's just algae, I've thought about a fox face for my new build but I'm not sure yet.

Mr. Foxface is our first. I was very worried about him poking me or the kids. But he is very personable. And the kids LOVE him.

I need some help. for those of you familiar with foxface fish. Mr. Foxface has been placed in the Disney QT. He has his hiding colors on, his fins up, and he seems to be breathing faster. his little fins are going frantically. Is this how they respond to stress? He did this for a short bit in the other QT.

The 20L QT is in the basement, ambient light on a timer. I have been obsessing that the basement might not be a good place for QT. Am I am just going crazy for nothing?

My QT has always been in the basement next to the heating and air conditioning unit. Is there any concern that I may be unaware of?
