I don't think a new version is being released. Normally we alerted ahead of time when new products are being released before it even goes on sale such as the Radion Gen 6. It's been slow and they are probably overstocked on Vortechs hence the sale only on that particular item.

The patent isn't set to expire for a couple more years. That's when they'll release the new version/upgrade

Maybe Wifi will be added to all products for IOTA and BT will still be used for interdevice synch (ex multiple radions, vortechs or Versa). Would be a shame if IOTA required a Radion.

Good question. Either they back in stock or new unit. Never really seen 25% off.

The "sale" price may put us a little closer to what the MSRP was before COVID . I gave up how many times prices went up across all reefing items.

Regardless, if you look at the larger picture, everyone is putting things on "sale" way before the holiday. Many suppliers are holding on to way too many items in inventory now that demand and supply chain have loosen up. With the economy the way it is, xmas sale across the economy this year had started back in late August.
