I’m looking for recommendations for a blue Acropora that displays the distinctive fluorescence that hobbyists recognize when under high-color-temperature lighting.

I have a Palmers Blue millepora, which is beautiful under lower color temperatures, but it’s almost invisible when under high color temperatures or all blues. I’d like to see what you have that is still visible when you are running the blues that make your corals “pop”.

Thank you!

To my knowledge there is no such thing as a true blue fluorescent protein(*) in nature, and if there was it would not fluoresce under blue lights by definition. It would have to be excited by some higher energy wavelength e.g. true UV.
(there are cyan proteins, sort of a blueish green, but not blue-blue)

I agree with above. I have a half dozen different amazing blue Acropora but totally disappear with blue light. Stunners in daylight though.

Echoing what was said above, my blue corals also disappear under blue light only. They look best under full spectrum for sure.
