Hi, I’m looking to add chaeto to my sump, can I use a normal reef light for it? Or does it need to be red?

You can use any full spectrum light. You can even a regular incandescent light bulb. Obviously a light made for plant growth will probably do better, but any white/full spectrum light will work.

Ok so I have a spare 30w reef light, will sea lettuce grow in white light?
