Hello, so I added my first fish (2 Black Storm Clowns) to my tank last night. I'm running a WaterBox Mini Peninsula 25 with a 1.0 Sicce return pump and a Nero 3. The Nero is running the Random pre-set with a min of 25% and a max of 48%. My question is, the two clowns are only about 1" and look to be swimming hard in the tank. How do I know if the flow is too much? My goal is to also have LPS and Soft corals so I don't want the flow to low. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Thank You

Since you are keeping lower flow coral anyways, I would probably dial it down a bit....especially if the clowns have nowhere they can go to avoid the stronger flow.

My SPS dominant mixed reef 120 has ~70x turnover achieved using multiple power heads. Your clowns will be just fine. They will find places where they are happy and hang out in that area.

IMHO, you should be looking for ~30-40x turnover for your intended corals. I'd go ahead and get that dialed in now. The fish will adapt.
