Testing a 200G tank. Can i get by with filling it with 3 tanks of 55G from RO/DI leftover water or should i really fill it all the way to the top?

I think you want to leak test a “full” tank not just 3/4. But keep in mind you can put things in to help displace the water so it acts like a full tank. You’re not testing the middle of the tank. Just the seams.I'm using the waste water to fill the tank from my Ro/Di unit so as to not waste 200G of just tap water and im using 55G drums for waste water. i just wanted to know if 3 X 55G = 165G = 3/4 full if that is a good enough indicator for tank leaking if it is going to do so
Thanks, that's kinda the info i needed was add stuff to it to make it displaced and that will test it full instead of actually having to fill it with 200G of water.I think you want to leak test a “full” tank not just 3/4. I can’t tell what you are asking. Are you just asking if you can keep a tank partly full?
What is ro/di leftover water?
