The elegance has amazingly recovered now and regained its ice blue coloration and pink tips. I am still absolutely shocked it made it.

I’m a big fan of feeding sps and baby brine shrimp seem to be the most proven food. I have used the auto Hatcher that brs now sells but like making more, but hate adding unhatched cysts. Brine shrimp direct decapped are nice but they are spendy with shipping and seems like their viability drops fast. I was excited to see ocean nutrition bring magnetic cyst tech to the US finally

I got it off Amazon and they seem to take a bit longer to hatch. 30hr vs my normal 18hr. The quality of the bbs looks great.

My two goni were getting too big again, I didn’t want to take them to my friends house with a saw so I tried an experiment. Hit them with a hammer..... worked ok! Next time will use a large flat screwdriver as a chisel though.

Here they are after frag and the green in the display this morning before lights on. Success! The reds could be chiseled in half even.

Decided to clear out the sump and go back to chaeto only. I donated the clams down there to the zoo, which was thrilled to get them. 2 hippo, 2 squammy, gigas, derasa.

I have noticed how my green and red goni don’t sting each other, so I have been wanting to try a graft for a while. My friend who has a saw was nice enough to cut some slivers from my recent frags. Here goes nothing!

Put chaeto back in after took clams out. This is not quite one week later if growth. Interesting it seems to have changed from dense growth ball to spreading out, probably due to rapid growth and lots of light.

Here is updated shot. The above was from half a palm size, then 1 week later. Here it is yesterday which is a bit under 2 weeks from the start. I didn’t know it could grow so fast.

Some updated photos. Also got battlecorals gilded Lilly as he says it’s the 1st true yellow acro he has ever had and I didn’t think a true yellow acro existed at least with any blue light.
