Baby jawbreaker. Already started to show red streaks on the far right but hard to see here.

Wwc jellybean delivered from cornbread. Great packaging. They threw in a bubble gum digi too so that was cool.

I put it on a frag plate instead of the plug, will help keep other coral away a bit easier. Size is as I expected, actually larger than I feared. Fingers crossed. Put in 150-200 par spot.

Time for weekly testing. 4-5 NO3, 0.018 PO4. Macro seems to be still doing its thing no matter how much food I throw at the tank.

Been hand feeding the JB small reef frenzy pellet everyday and it always seems hungry. Looks to be working, another mouth appears to be forming on the upper part!

With the big news today of ORA bringing in gigas for the 1st time in what, 10 years give or take, I saw that they were going up for sale today on liveaquaria's Ora section so I had to get one...

They are pretty small and you don't get to pick them so I don't think it will be a stunner, but the 150g sump has nothing but room. I wouldn't have gotten it from the WI facility but straight from ORA is solid.

Fed the JB a mysis which it ate, but I think it might like lower flow which I don’t have a ton of, but will put it in the back a while so see. The skeleton was raised.

It pains my heart, but I put aptasia ex on baby rock nems. Idk if it will kill them, but something has to be done or they will overtake the tank.

Got a little bryopsis again... I will just wait to use reefflux again since have to pull macros but no hurry.

Oh yes I forgot to say that I gave away my beautiful two hammers and torch coral. One of the hammers and the torch started developing some sweepers, the hammer wasn't in a spot to hit anything, but the torch and ORA goni when extended only have a few inches so I just gave all 3 away. If you can't play nice then you can't play in my tank! I had a lot of hammers before and didn't have sweepers, but I guess it happens. I have plenty of coral to put in those spots anyway!

Stometella getting it on!

I have a video and the Live Photo is cool, but here you can see the white one putting out eggs and the black one with sperms. Never seen it before.

The uploaded pics are hard to see, but was definitely eggs and much finer sperm babies. Bottom pic eggs swirling away near the top.

That DD plate coral is an aggressive feeder! Put several reef frenzy pellets on it and they were instantly gone.

Bought 4 more timers for the powerheads. I wasn’t running any on them, but I really like running them all randomly on 30min off 30 to really get some variable flow. The sps are fine but the goni really seem to do better like this when I did it on the 33. And they are inexpensive! I just indent every other tab and set a random time so sometimes all will be on (all set to pulse) but more often it’s a random 2-3 on 2 off.
