Here the start of my Waterbox 180.5 mixed reef. I would like a mixed reef with 1 or 2 showpiece nems :) I have had 5 reef tanks previously, and learned some from each. Still have a lot to learn… Hoping this tank turns out nice and fairly easy to maintain, once set up that is…

Started with new equipment….

Waterbox 180.5
XR 15 Blues Gen 5 (x3)
RO 200SSS
Apex full system
Apex trident
Apex Leak detection
Apex Dos (x2)
MP40 (x2)
Avast kalk stirrer
Aqua Violet 24w UV
Vectra M2
etc…

I bought some established rock from someone that was breaking down a tank… I am leaving the tank fallow for 76 days, and going to QT all fish and such…. Hoping and praying that it pays off!!!!

I just built a box for the controls. I need to connect and program the Apex… Ugh… Next I am running water lines to the garage for an auto water change!

Slowly but surely….

cycled… have a few corals and inverts in the display.

Fish are in QT & tank is fallow for 76 days as a precautionary measure…

Control box is made and ready to be installed…

First attempt at aquascaping by braking / epoxy… not too shabby, imo. They are each approx. 18x12-14 & 12” tall. They are for my Waterbox 180.5

I’ll be parting with my 2 rock towers that are currently in it shortly…. The towers were originally from WWC & are really cool. I just wanted to go a different route… OCD works for me

grr… video won’t play
