Well, glad I had maintained the generator all these years. No power for 22 hours, it’s back on now and all is well. Merry Christmas!

Heaters are the most aggravating aquarium equipment!!!

I replaced a cobalt neotherm heater with a new one. 100watts. The old one was high accurate and stable, but it would not reliably come back on after being switched off. The new one does not maintain the tank temp no checked and it’s only drawing 48 watts. what the heck!! dang expensive heater to not work out of the box. I like the neotherm accuracy but this is unacceptable. I normally run two heaters but I’m limited on space so I went for one heater and my tank was 3 degrees low this morning. 100w should be sufficient.

I have it plugged into my apex.
Perhaps I’ll go back to the old Eheim Jager heater. Open to suggestions if you have’m.
