Waterbox 340xl converted to 360g with custom sump

My waterbox areived. I had Glass Aquatic in DFW area assist with getting in the house. Sadly I had to hire them twice because the wife decided it should go on the other wall. I love the waterbox tank and stand. But the sump and plumbing not a fan. Sump didn’t fit my needs. So I modified and resulported the stand with more aluminum 3030 rail. Worked hand in hand with @Poseidons Creations to custom build me a sump. I will say if you plan on using any other sump then what Waterbox sends just order a custom tank. They use international plumbing (Metric) what a nightmare getting fittings and convert to standard pvc schedule 80. I am still in the process of dry rough in on tank and mixing station. I am also working on converting my Radion xr30 lights (4) and brackets to make one rail bracket. So I will use 3 cr30 tank brackets and starch with 1 80” rail. I am doing this to keep the rail from Boeing with the weight and still beable to hide the cords going to back of aquarium versus the sides.

Also, I have noticed that some of the 340.7 come with what appears to be a lighter, chrome colored feet - and some with what appears to be a more gunmetal or darker colored feet.

Yours appears to have the lighter, chrome colored, correct...?

Nice build man. Keep up with the pictures and please take some pics standing beside the tank for size reference. I can measure things out all day but you really never know the true size of these things till you see someone standing beside one or see one in person.

Would love to see how you do this with the rail. I think it’s a shame a 7ft tank only has 3 spots for fixtures. I’m trying to figure the same thing and thinking of doing a custom canopy

I will take a picture of the rail with the LED’s mounted this weekend. But I am thinking of doing a canopy myself

I ordered online the dealer just happened to be less than a hour away in Fairfield Tx. I do not have the dimensions on hand. But I used 30” heavy duty water heater stand. Used 5/8 treated plywood added extra bracing.
