Maybe because I told them it’s going to be a predator tank? How’s your GW12 performing? Did you have to break it in? Would love to see your tank. That's weird. They recommended the GW12 for me (same tank as you). That's after initially recommending the GW7. Super heavy bio-load btw.
Yes that looks very tight. So the emergency overflow bypasses the rollermat?@jblasi it was a tight fit but here it is!
Correct. Also note I had to use a stand or the rollermat would rub against the top of the sump. Hanging the Clarisea did not work because the change was not wide enough.Yes that looks very tight. So the emergency overflow bypasses the rollermat?
I appreciate you posting the progress of implementing your ClariSea. I was really on the line about where I was going to take the tank off line to make the modifications or if I was going to upgrade sumps. I decided to just upgrade to a GEO sump. I wish you would have done this 2 years earlier lol.Correct. Also note I had to use a stand or the rollermat would rub against the top of the sump. Hanging the Clarisea did not work because the change was not wide enough.
I'll have to level the tank this weekend, so I can let you know how everything is working.
Well I think you did a good job of incorporating it the best you could. That is a killer filter system. I can’t wait to see your build as it progresses. Your going to love that tank!if I would do it again, I would upgrade the tank with a built-in roller. Who knows? Maybe that’s what I’ll do in the future.
Sorry!! I know this is wayyy late but yes. Your good to go. You will not have any problems with that.Anyone? Is it centered enough?
Thanks for the feedback! I had some time to work on the aquascape. I’m pretty happy how it turned out.Sorry!! I know this is wayyy late but yes. Your good to go. You will not have any problems with that.
My MP40’s run nutrient transport at 90% during the day and lagoon/tidal swell at 55% during the night and early morning. Please beware that running them at the max glass thickness that high makes them almost too hot to the touch. That’s why mine are at 90% and not higher. I am swapping them out for 60’s. Now of your not worried about a whole lot of flow then you will be just fine.Got her wet yesterday! Still need to make more water though. @jblasi what setting do you have your mp40 on? Did you also calibrate your vectra?
