Tank looks awesome man. My 110.4 gets here sometime in July. I was thinking 2 MP10's would be enough so I'm curious what you're running your MP40's at?

Looks spot on, the aquascape is great, how have you found the filter sock cleaning, doing my research its hit and miss on how people adopt a cleaning routine.. I've not started the build of my 110.4. I'm thinking about a filter roller in place of the filter socks, not sure if anyone has gone down this route or not ?

My 40s are controlled through my Apex and they are running on anti-sync the control power head maxs out around 80% while the other runs on 65% of the control head.
you would probably be fine with 2 mp10 depending on what you goal is with the tank, im going for a SPS dominate tank so i wanted a ton of flow. I have almost too much flow lol. Even 1 mp40 would probably be enough

I change the rear sock every couple days, move the front to the back and place a new one in the front. I just flip mine inside out and throw them on the washer machine. They come out nice and clean. Rollers are great but can be expensive. I find it easier just to change the socks

Mine run at 15% right now which seems to be the sweet spot for keeping the sand in place but still good flow. I have read the MP10s don't work for M-x 110.4 due to glass thickness.

I appreciate that. I'm a beginner so won't be getting into the more challenging corals until later on. Having said that, I may look into swapping out the 10's for 40's. Thanks!

I appreciate that. I haven't opened the boxes yet since my tank isn't here and if that is the case, hopefully I can just bring them back and upgrade.

Confirmed that the MP-10 maxes out at 9.5 mm and the 110.4 is 12 mm. The first mistake of many I will make I'm sure! Thanks again for pointing that out.

I've heard the same about the MP10s - right now I have 2 40s on the back of my 110.4. One at 45% and one at 20%.

Thanks guys. I actually swapped my mp10’s for a mp40, heater, controller and have a gift card for the balance. Figured I can get a second 40 as time goes on. Worked out perfectly!

Hi All, Have any of you fitted a UV to the 110 at all, i'm just in the process of putting it all together and thinking of the best access point for a UV in the cabinet?

Would probably fit nicely on the sump side of the cabinet

I ditched the filter socks in my 110 and replaced it with the 4 inch Klir Roller. So far so good but I’m only about 3 weeks in

Hi..I've read mixed reports on the klir but also not sure about availability here in the UK. Has the move to filler roller been a night/day for quality or only a slight one?

I made the move out of convenience. No longer have to clean filter socks every week and I can leave for vacation without worrying about clogged socks or trying to find a person to clean them for me and replace. Water clarity has been the same and since Klir upgraded the motor their track record has improved
