I made the move out of convenience. No longer have to clean filter socks every week and I can leave for vacation without worrying about clogged socks or trying to find a person to clean them for me and replace. Water clarity has been the same and since Klir upgraded the motor their track record has improved
thanks for the update, i'd have probably tried them if they were more readily available in the UK, but they look a great no regrets addition to the sump, do razor blade needed at all..

Hey everyone! Tank update!
So i have changed some equipment around, upgraded and what not.
Swapped out the Hydra 32s for Orphek Atlantick v4 and two Blue bars
Swapped the Jebao return for a Apex Cor20
Added a 25w UV sterilizer.
Also went with a Bubble Magnus Curve & elite over the Deltec
Tank is doing great.

Another tank update.
Stability was achieved and everything has been doing well. All corals have been growing well.

only things being dosed is Tropic Marin All For Reef.

violet stuff on rocks, pretty sure its coralline algae but not completely sure, it doesn’t scrape off with anything.

everything else has been doing very well.

Another tank update.

Tank suffered a crash a few months back (my fault) the all for reef container ran dry and i didn't catch it. Did loose some SPS but the tank has made a comeback.

after everything settled back out tank started to take off again.
turned the Orpheks up and coral growth exploded. Exploded to the point where i was dosing so much all for reef to keep up with consumption that i was reaching the daily recommended limit of 104ml a day.
over the past week or so i have added a calcium reactor and am working on getting the tank stability back on track. The reactor is way oversized and should be able to keep up no problem. Have added some new tank mates and have lost some as well.
Looking to continue to add more coral.
Overall the tank is doing really well
