Wavemaker placement

I don't know why this is so hard for me to figure out wavemaker placements. Someone please help me with this. Here's what it looks like now. Tank is 110 gallons. 48 by 24 by 18. Thanks everyone.

Put a powerhead on each side about 3 inches below the surface so you get some nice surface ripple for gas exchange.

Put a powerhead on each side about 3 inches below the surface so you get some nice surface ripple for gas exchange.
So the one on the right is closer to the top and than I have the 2 on the left, one close to the surface and one below it in the middle. So I think it's fine. But idk. I keep messing around with that.

1/3 of the way down pointed slightly upward. Enough flow for no dead spots.

Both sides at least. Middle if needed.

Just depends on what corals you are planning, how your rocks are places, enough flow but no sand blowing around, etc...

I've been messing around with my wav.
Currently its like this. I can turn them up and it gets choatic. They bounce off the side walls and disperse up, down, sideways...
