Wavemaker question Aqua Dream 4800 GPH Wave Maker Pump [LBS-50]

Does anyone have any experience with the Aqua Dream 4800 GPH Wave Maker Pump [LBS-50]? Would it be too much for a 20 gal tank if adjusted to a very low setting?

They are very much stream style where it shoots water without a wide spread. I would consider something with wider flow like a jebaeo slw sine unless the goal is to have a very directional flow.
