Nice.
Why do corals end up to be named Rainbow lately?

Good friend came and dropped off some more sps, made a few more diy frag trees to accommodate them! Tank is really coming along.

Looking great.
Any reason for the extra Orphek? Did the tank lack light?
I love your frag tree solution.

I always had planned to add a 3rd fixture once corals grew out, with all the new additions and many of them only having space on the sides of the tank where I knew par was lacking for sps.

So I figured throwing on a 3rd light would cause some slowdown in alk consumption as the sps adjusted to the higher par, turns out I was wrong and my alk is dropping like crazy, had to bump up my reactor output almost 8ml to keep up!

Good to hear. We'll see soon if that also resulted in new colonies, forming in the tank. :)

I assume you like the Orpheks. Do you use a custom light setting?
I have a 40"x32"x21" tank for which I slowly am searching some missing equipment which was sold when I shut down my previous tank.
One of it is lights and I have been doubting which direction to go.
I doubt between Orpheks, ATI Straton and Kessils.

How do you compare these Atlantics with the Radions you had before?
TIA.

I do like the lights, I wouldn't say it's very custom, lights ramp up over an hour, stay at the same level for 8 hours, then ramp back down over an hour, very "on/off" in terms of programming.

I went with the orpheks after seeing several local tanks with wall to wall amazing sps, I figure it can be done with every light on the market now, so I think it comes down to personal choice.

I can't really compare them with the radions I had before, the were on the tank when it was still young.

The app to program them has to be the absolute worst part, I barely give it a 1 out of 10 with how **** it is. But once programmed they are solid for sure.

Thought this was neat, you can see exactly when I added the additional light by the growth on my pc rainbow which is in the corner of the tank, started reaching other directions instead of towards the center of the tank.
