We <3 Reefing: On a scale from 1-10, how much do you love reefing?

Happy Valentine's Day! Today is a day that the world celebrates love. We all have many things we love, but there is one thing we love that we all have in common (at least, I hope): REEFING! Just like with any human relationship, our relationship with our reef has its highs and lows, but we all just keep coming back!

On a scale from 1-10, how much do you love reefing?

7. I enjoy my nanos a lot, but at heart I will always be a freshwater guy.

I went with a reluctant 8. 10 is for my music. Been performing and composing music for way longer and have made a living doing that. I really love my reef keeping and will do everything within my power to be around an aquarium 24/7 if possible, but I could live without it. If I had a place to go and sit whenever I need and relax in front of a reef tank I might be okay not having one as my own for a while.

7 and growing. Having a family will always be 1 to me.
After that it’s another hobby and then Reefing.
With reefing being the fastest growing interest.

I ranked it an 8 but should have maybe done a 9. Ive tried to leave the hobby a few times only to come back. I really do enjoy it

I ranked my reef as an 8 but I do love it. However there are things I love even more like my relationship with the LORD (Who is #1), my husband (who is #2), kids and their families (#2 and a half), and my church friends (#2 and three quarters). Ha ha, then there are the competing hobbies gardening and motorcycling and volunteering at a youth/horse rescue ranch. So with all that going on giving my reef an 8 is pretty good!

I gave it a 7, keeps me happy and frustrated sometimes at the same time. Just when you think you have it figured out something pops up like algae, coral and fish issues. Ughhhhh

6. I really like reefing but for the most part it's just me & the tank. 10 is reserved for dog sports, I train alone but the obedience trials are full of people that want to talk dogs, especially when my dog & I do well

I enjoy reefing, never had any little red balloon popping events that made me rethink my life decisions. so I will continue on. I've enjoyed the ocean, salt water fish, etc my whole life. So this is something I enjoy doing.

this is nothing more than a hobby for me. I have a number of hobbies that also take up my time and money. If this were my only hobby, then I might have voted 10.

Same for me as well and is up there at an 8 or 9. We travel a lot and having my daughter come over to feed the fish and look after it is stressful. We are leaving next January for a 27 day vacation and I’m already stressing over it. I think vacations cause me the most stress.
