It's with an extremely heavy heart that I create this thread letting you know that one a part of our family has passed away tragically.
@Donovan Joannes passed away this past Sunday Jan. 7th.
I was just made aware of this awful news today but it was first talked about here in Donovan's DIY thread: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/p...nitrate-destroyer.302685/page-33#post-4352214
This is terrible terrible news. I am so saddened today to find this out. While I didn't know Donovan personally I know that he loved reef aquariums and he loved helping people. He was a very valuable member of this community. I really have no words.....
Here is one of his threads where he was collecting that we featured on our FB page and email blasts. I hate hearing this tragic news.

Please pray for Donovan's family and friends.
Rest In Peace @Donovan Joannes.
