Thank you for your sponsorship. I would recommend starting a dialogue with the members here to promote a better understanding on how to maximize the performance of the exact dip. I am a proponent of the device, but I am still experience some issues like many here are.

I just bought the marine starter kit at Chicago's Aquatic Experience. I am so excited about all of this. Especially the Bluetooth and spreadsheet part. Thanks for sponsoring R2R.

It doesn’t compare to ICP testing. This device is nice in that it can do many things but it’s not as accurate as ICP, Hanna, Salifert or Red Sea but that issue may or may not matter as repeatability of results is good even if they are off a bit and it’s pretty easy to use though some of the tests do take awhile. Not having to clean out tiny vials after each use is a major plus. I personally don’t trust it to give the right reading of copper in my qt tank yet hoping. They can improve the accuracy of this.

I bought one there too. It looks really interesting. I plan on comparing results the ICP test.
I hope its not to good to be true. I plan on finally using it in the am. I so far have only read everything, installed the app and bought the extra tests through the app store. So far it's been easy sailing. We'll see in the morning how it goes.

Btw guess what else happened to me at Aquatic Experience? I won a glowfish tank and a 50.00 gift certificate from Dr. Fosters and Smith. I plan on donating the tank set up to one of the underprivileged kids in the coral reef program at Stratton Elementary here in Champaign. I'm so pleased about it. I never win anything. Cool beans.

I’m planning on getting the marine kit. Local fish store started carrying them and sold out before I could grab one. Hope they are as good as the stories told!
