What’s going on with my hammer?

It has only been in my take a couple days (Coral RX dip when I got it) and now one of the heads has this weird white thing in the middle? This just came around within the last couple hours or so. Any idea?

Hard to make out 100% but this is what I think. The white is it's skeleton because it's super retracted. Not going to make it would be my guess.

How did you acclimate it? What's the water parameter?

it’s back to normal in the morning. I texted a couple of my coral friends and we think that it is the head expanding and expelling waste as the lights turn off.
