Hey guys I bought some live rock and this weird looking thing was growing on the back, it use to be very small and now it’s pretty big, I think it’s bad for my tank because my anemone was close to it one day but closed up on the side where it was touching it.

What’s the best way to remove it? It moves way to fast

One way as there are many...If it retracts in to a hole in the rock, just put a glob of super glue over the hole.

kalkwasser paste works for me. Maybe your LFS has a laser or shock probe. Honestly if the rock is easy to remove I would. In the past, one means many more in the future.

It look like that rock is easy to get out of the tank.

If you pull the rock, pull it out and hold it so the bad nem is on the bottom hanging down. Then use a flat Tip screwdriver to scrape the rock where it's attached.
Kinda the hulk smash method.

The hazard of trying to keep chasing it with kalk and glue is eventually it may spit babies as a defense mechanism.
