What’s on this acan frag

I notice this on my acan frag not sure if it’s a pest or not

On the front right of the frag looks like some kind of sponges.

These are harmless pineapple sponges which are short lived and filter feed off algae and favor low flow areas and thrive from silicates often associated with new rock, sand or expired Di resin

I agree the photo isn’t very clear but it does look like pineapple sponges!
