What’s the acceptable TDS readings

So my DI replacements cartridge won’t be here till next week and my reading is 4-5 after I let it run for like a cup or two of rodi, is this still acceptable?

I know we all want 0 and usually we gotta change it when it’s over 3.

I wouldn’t call it an emergency but yes get it down to zero. If you need to do a water change do it if you can wait I would wait.

I like to keep mine at 0 but that doesn’t mean I haven’t changed some tank water out at 3-4 TDS. If it’s not over 10 then I really wouldn’t be to concerned but it’s best to keep under 5.
