It's a five-hour drive for me to Edmonton when the roads are passable, so no. I'm not "close" to any city.
Grande Prairie is closer, but no one knows where that is, not even in Alberta.

Nice! I used to play at the Blind Pig when I lived in the area. It wasn’t too bad of a commute from Toledo.
