If you had to start over, what size is the smallest tank you’d keep? I can’t see myself keeping less than 40 gallons because of fish limitations. But 60g is probably the smallest I could keep and be proud of. Not to say nanos and picos aren’t nice, but a desktop nano just doesn’t do it for me.

Seeing that my only tank is a Fluval 13.5, I guess I'd have to say that....

Of course, though, I'm itching to upgrade that to a larger tank, perhaps down the line when my fish are bigger. Ideally, I'd say 40 gallons, but bigger is better.

I keep a one ounce Pico Nano tank. It has a reverse undergravel filter, a doser, Ozone reactor, skimmer, Vodka doser, but no sump. The CUC is a pod and the one fish, a seahorse needs to be inverted twice a day. The substrait is 3 grains of crushed coral. I don't know the pH because the test vile uses all the water.

Right now I am battling a Romain lettuce outbreak but plan to add an urchin and sea hare.

I currently have a 10g, but I really want to try a 2 gal cookie jar pico tank. I am completely opposite most reefers because I love tiny worlds. They are magical to me because a coral reef should not exist in a cookie jar. But I also like corals and inverts more than fish.

I've thought about doing a ten gallon. Although I would probably only keep coral and a shrimp in the tank if I ever do it.

I did a 19 litre tank once, one of my favourites to be honest. If anything went wrong you could just do a 100% water change.

The problem is finding good quality small equipment.

For me that answer would depend upon if it is my only tank. If I'm only keeping one tank it probably be 75g for me, but if it was just another tank I'd be fine with a 10 g tank with just coral and inverts.

100 gallon and I don’t even know if I would be happy with it as the smallest I have owned was 120
I have a 130g and it’s perfect for me now. Filling it with corals takes time and money but it’s a great size if you have a decent budget and husbandry. I’d love a 300g mixed reef/SPS dominant but that’s a lot of cash to cough up.

If you upgrade to that I’d love to see it. Will it be on the 10th floor though? Haha.

Basically if I ever get that 200-220 I’m going for ideally 80” in length (200cm), I’ll add a Purple Tang, pair of Goldflake Angels from Bali Aquarich (Captive Bred), a couple other fish and I’m about done lol.

Dude, how do you remember what floor I live on? Your memory is too good.
