What’s This Growth on Trochus Shell?

It’s bubble algae.
Take snail out and over the sink, pop with toothpick and scrape away remainder with toothpick and rinse with tank water and return to display

It’s bubble algae.

Thanks for the reply. I thought that might be bubble algae inside whatever the growth is, but I didn’t think bubble algae would be able to build a shell around itself. That weird extra shell that the “bubble algae“ is in made me think it might not be bubble algae. Maybe I can figure out what the growth is on it when I remove the bubble algae.
