I dunno - those kid toys make pretty good fish feedersHuh…I guess I probably should clean it out. Still have baby toys under there from playing with the octopus.
I hear that!Small tank = small stand = not to much space... but ato is under there... temp controllers, and storage
Thanks! I didn’t even think to take a before, but it was a wild mess.Nicely done - would love to see your birds nest to compare! ha
Some of us (ok, I) should earn a “Procrastinator” Badge?I like what you've done with cleaning up the cords. When I installed everything, that was the first thing I did was to zip tie everything. It took a while but I'm glad I did. A lot of reefers have great looking under cabinet management. Great job for all that have gone the extra mile!
@Daniel@R2R will get around to it. EventuallySome of us (ok, I) should earn a “Procrastinator” Badge?
That's such a clean setup!!! I love the dual heaters, dosing, and cable management. The skimmer locker/drain is awesome! I need to do that on my DT but need to raise the skimmer up by 3 inches.
I'm lucky - my trusty son can 3D print whatever I need. What I would wish for -- wireless power! Nah... ok, the ability to change to shorter cables. Also, as for those power bricks, they're a pita! I saw someone DIY'ed a brick to consolidate cables but now you have a single point of failure.im always impressed with people that have their cords and controllers incredibly neat. I bought a few 3d printed "holders" for my power supplies to be able to mount them to the wall (knotty pine basement wall). Its quite a mess and I am going to maybe clean it up this weekend.
Thank you, doing tanks many years ago I wanted to start this right and took my time (a little of a month) just making sure everything is good.I like what you've done with cleaning up the cords. Clean setup given such a tight space. I’m spoiled since I have a whole room to myself.I got my doser and I got it under the tank. Had to switch things around but it's in and easy to take the bottles out to refill. Now I need to program the thing for dosing P04 and N03. Super cool app with many features to work with. Space is 17" w x 13 x 13. Tight. lol
I set up a little 10gal in my mancave with the goal of using my main tank to fill it with corals. So far it's going ok. It's definitely more challenging than the 90galMy smallest tank was a 60gal and with the "bigger is better" mentality in this hobby, I've missed out on some really cool pico tanks! Perhaps I should try a 5-10gal?
I'd be in the running with you lol. Got a Hydros controller for Christmas and just got around to putting it on my tank last night. Absolute torture, but so worth it.Some of us (ok, I) should earn a “Procrastinator” Badge?
