I have a couple of large stylo colonies right at the surface . So about 14 inches below the lights. I run white and red at 80% peak and Blue and Green at 100%.

My recommendation would be to start with acclimation mode ramping up and down for 10 to 12 hours. What I have found with Orphek vs. some of the other lights I have owned is that you should be able to eventually ramp up to between 80 and 100% on all channels, if you want, without bleaching anything.
Yes because the spectrum allows this . But if the corals are small and get to high PAR more then 350 then the corals will grow slower . But at same time need to look very much of the water parameters. So always better to go slow . Beside ch3 not look so strong to the human ayes but for corals it creat photosynthesis 3 time more . Because it part of chlorophyll a . So this channel I recommend not to pass 60% . I also recommend to use strong clouds. It help to exchange oxygen and improve color .

Do you have any light schedule recommends for a shallow(24" x 20" x 12") LPS tank? And what's the hanging hight should be? I'm using the compact. Thanks

To recommend a program we need to see pictures and short story about the tank .
Light intensity is not the same for same tank size .
If more about the types of corals , the rocks , the way the corals set at the tank and size of corals , and how much time thy are at the tank . And some basic information about the DKH . And if follow it .

Hey Ofir, will adding OR bars to my 2x Atlantik V4 benefit much to blue colours and actinic "pop" during daylight hours? I want to provide the full spectrum the V4s offer but prefer the deeper blue when only channel 2.

I recommend that thy can act as clouds . Use time and turns them on 30 minutes then 15 off .

so you run your white and red led channels at 80%? Would hat be channels 1&3?
mine will be coming back from repair shortly and I’m looking forward to having them up and giving them a try. But I have NO clue how to run them coming from halides.

one is red and 4 is white. Per Ofir's advice I am running white and blue at 80% and the others around 90% at peak with heavy clouds. At one time I ran all at 100% without burning anything and I know that others have also. I would contact them with specifics on your halides and see what they recommend.

Ofir (@Orphek)
I am running 2 metal halides on my tank they are Hamilton 20k bulbs. 250 watts each. Before that I ran the radiums. i got a set of Orpheks used in July. James actually has them right now as he is replacing some leds I was having issues with. When I get them back any recommendations on how I can run them to sort of match up to the halides. I will run the acclimation mode for a few weeks but then what do you suggest?
i know I’ve told you in all of our email exchanges....but again thank you so much for all your help on these used fixtures I bought. You’ve been awesome!

This was sent to by James at Orphek. I made only a few changes. Starting ch's 2,3 and 4 at 8am . My tank is 36L X 18W X 16H the light are approx 12" off the water. I have the Atlantik V4 gen2 light. My tank is sps only with one exception. I have an Elegance coral. My corals are / were browning and this is what James recommended as a lighting schedule. I would like to see some of the tanks with this light. I have only had my light for month or so. Was using a DIY before this. Thanks.
