So I had upgraded both boards in the last year along with a single diode that burnt out. I asked Kris at Orpehk the same question about a month ago what’s the best setting for SPS? has anything changed since realeasing the original set of programs in the booklet? This is the program he sent me. He said its an old one. I think this was already posted here on page 2 or 3. I haven’t tried this program yet because my SPS are really showing great color and I haven’t had time to check the par meter against what I’m running.
I’m running the color plus growth program right now with a slight mod to the white channel. 11am -11pm.

What is your slight adjustment to the white channel?

if I recall correctly @Markxc they do recommend running clouds.

also, is anyone running the program that they shared early on(same one as above) or is anyone running the program BRS recommends?

Nothing was mentioned about running clouds.

I will have to check what I did when I get home.

I measured my lighting based on par and 2 corals in my tank that I have had for over 10yrs ora red planet and Garf Bonsai I know what those are suppose to look like under 250w Radium and 150w phoniex bulbs when I use to run them. So if those 2 are happy then the rest should fall in line.

Anytime! I’m always looking for new info on these lights myself. Super impressed on what I’m getting out of these.

So here’s my light schedule. I turned the white down so I can get a little more pop when I’m home from work with the blues but making sure I blast the corals for a short burst of the day with whites.

I include my Red planet pic to show. It’s about 27” away from the light. The pic is not the best but there is some green tucked inside the base shadows which I do like. It gives some dimension instead of all red when it’s getting a ton of par/light. Still super nice all red I just like that green pop hiding.

Does anyone happen to have a screenshot of the BRS recommended settings? I'm running my V4's at 14" above a 32" deep tank.

yeah the older one had more channel 4. any idea on the time frame for that recommendation? still a little confused on if we should run #3 as high as that. so people say less then 50% because its so strong.

Hello. I have been using these settings since August. The peak of the day is 3 hours. Before that, my settings were in message 136, 137. After two months the colors became better, but in August I added another blue stripe plus, maybe the stripe contributed to the color change.

Can you show the hour settings in your new schedule?
thank you

Who/how do I report individual leds that are not working on my V4 Gen 2's to? I have one panel that has at least 6 leds that are not working on one of my four units.

Also, I can not keep the clouds programmed. I haven't seen the clouds in my tank for 3 months although it's supposed to be scheduled.

I am hopeful someone from Orphek will respond/contact me.

Thanks in advance.

I have your basic set up but I only have 1 bar right now in front and I angle it towards the front 1/3rd to try to enlighten the shaded areas a bit. At about 8" below water with lights mounted at 14.5" above the water, I have between 350 and 410 PAR.

Hello guys ! is there someone who is running one Orphek V2 on Red Sea 250 tank ( 90 cm long, 50 cm wide, 50 cm deep) ?
i have a v4 gen2 compact on a 36x18x24 inch tank. i kinda wish i went with 2 because the shadows towards the edges with as low (spectrum and height) as i have it. but if yours is raised to 16-18 inches and increase output, it should stretch 90cm no problem. dont even worry about the 50cm depth or width.

a single should be fine, if not add a or3
