What are my odds on savings this?

A friend had a weird situation where all the sps in the tank started losing tissue. Algae growth on exposed skeleton. Was given a frag of TSA Walt Disney with the dead parts fragged off. To try and save as much as possible. Dipped my part of the frag in reef primer, followed by a rinse in tank water, then A dip in iodine. It lost some tissue in the process. Most likely already dead, dip just helped it along. This is where we are at today. Full polyp extension, on the remaining polyps. Coloration is brown, but to be expected. What are the odds that this will pull through?

There’s always a chance; but I’d say slim to none if it’s like most sps on their “way out”

I've had pieces go both ways.
You think it's gone but hangs on.
Or you think it's gone and it goes.
Keep it stable with light and love. You never know, in a year it could be a really nice piece.
