If you could take a picture with your white lights on, that would help alot.

White enough? Want me to take it out from water and take pic again?

Oh no need for that, these pictures are clear enough. Yeah they are definitely vermitids. Not sure if you can see but do you notice the coils at the base of each tube. That’s a tell tale sign of vermitids.

I cannot eradicate vermetids as they are a part of the reef.
I wish there is a way to control vermetids.

Wrasse can't control it, and also bumblebee snails.
Let me see if there’s anything that you could do to control their population. What do you normally feed your tank?

Starve them out. Only target feed corals and turn off flow when you feed the fish. I only use fish food pellets and avoid anything frozen.

Feed Ocean Nutrition flakes for the fishes (5 firefish, 1 Hector's goby, 1 Pictus blenny and 1 Royal Gramma in 30G tank). Every other day : DIY fish food, sometimes frozen brine shrimps.

Coral (target feed) : 1ml RedSea Reef Nutrition AB+ / week

Try bumblebee snails I've heard mixed things on them. Best to starve them, manual removal, or those snails
I have 6 bumblebee snails in tank, and I can see them occasionally on the rock. hoping for the best that they take care at least smaller vermetids. The snails have been in tank for 4 months.
